Listen to “Only Here” (XPUE002)

OK, if you’ve read any of the other Xposure biographies you will no doubt be aware that they are littered with lies, falsities and other such made up nonsense in order to promote both comedy and entertainment value. Do not be fooled into thinking we have fabricated this fact though: Kiro, producer of the amazing ‘Only Here’ on Xposure Records, used to make Happy Hardcore!

Don’t let that put you off this amazing Drum & Bass release though, Kiro has been producing and engineering since 1992 and professionally since ’95 so you can rest assured he knows his tune making onions. Previously going under the guises of DJ DNA, D-Mo, Dream Sequence, Edit V and Genetix, Kiro has had more releases than you could count on 27 hands (even if you had 13½ people with willing hands to donate). Having worked with some of Dance Music’s biggest labels and across many genres of music, it’s clear that Kiro knows exactly how to make a multitude of massive monster mashers aimed straight for the dancefloor, which is exactly what his latest offering for Xposure brings.

In 2001 Kiro laid his most well known alias, DJ DNA, to rest, after having over 100 releases under this moniker Kiro felt it was time to move on and now concentrates fully on professional engineering work and making and DJing Drum & Bass. What is next for this amazing producer: Fame? Fortune? Fillet O’Fish? Who knows, but what we do know is with his outstanding production skills and ear for perfect mixdowns and unrivalled energy, is that whatever it is, it will be exciting!
