Listen to “I Feel You” (XPOE002)

Justin Todd was born and grew up in Northern Canada, lived in an igloo for most of his formative years and, as is customary in that part of the World, had to wrestle a Polar Bear in order to pass his 11+ exam. Happily married with a dog called Barley (which is different than married to a dog called Barley), he enjoys bike trials, making beats in his underwear, camping trips, late night swims in the Pacific Ocean, eating massive amounts of olives and strange cheese and he also likes to eat breakfast at dinner time!

Justin’s early forays into producing tunes came just over two years ago and ‘I Feel You’ on Xposure is his first outstanding release alongside Soma. Justin doesn’t DJ as he finds producing 100% satisfies his artistic needs (or a deeply harboured desire to be loved through audiological means – he should really see someone about that).

Subsequent to hearing Hive’s ‘Ultrasonic Sound’ on the Matrix soundtrack he said (and I quote) “WTF kind of crazy music is this? It’s #$&?ing awesome! I fell in love with D&B immediately” his favourite kind of crazy music is D&B with a bit of melody, which is nice. He hooked up with Soma after reading an article about him and his mad soft-synth creations in his favourite magazine: Computer Music.

From this collaboration the rather sublime ‘I Feel You’ was born, and quickly snapped up by DJ XO!
